Augsburg, September 2016 – At the Automechanika trade fair, WashTec was presented with the Innovation Award and is now the proud winner in the category Car Wash, Care & Reconditioning. The award for the innovation MultiFlex rounded off WashTec's successful trade fair appearance.

The specialist panel of the Automechanika Innovation Award was particularly won over by the WashTec innovation MultiFlex, which it bestowed with the award in the category Car Wash, Care & Reconditioning. MultiFlex not only presses itself flexibly in the usual manner onto the vehicle's side contour, but also pivots backwards when washing the rear of the vehicle actively along the sides of the vehicle. Pivoting on two axes, the MultiFlex side brushes ensure maximum vehicle contact around the back ends of the bumpers and the roof pillars. The innovation scored highly, for example, in the criteria degree of innovation and excellence of the solution, functionality such efficiency, user benefits and fields of application, aftermarket relevance and in terms of reliability and quality, contribution to environmental protection, conservation of resources and sustainability. Board Member Karoline Kalb and Raymond Salvetat, Sales Director DACH, proudly received the award during the presentation ceremony on 13 September.
